Plan &#038; Commit to Your Plan<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2. Start Small<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I talked about increasing the amount of steps you do on a daily basis, if you haven&#8217;t done that yet start now. To help grab a cheap <a href=\"http:\/\/www.samcarrara.com\/a\/B0007YGIMI\/\">step counter<\/a> at Amazon (presently $2.75).<br \/>\n<a href='http:\/\/www.samcarrara.com\/a\/B0007YGIMI\/'><img src='http:\/\/www.samcarrara.com\/marketing\/marketing\/wp-content\/uploads\/step-counters.jpg' alt='Step Counters' \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Three- Lunch Walk<\/strong><br \/>\nGrab your comfortable sneakers and spend <em>15 to 20 minutes<\/em> during lunch walking around. Not only is it good exercise, it can also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><font color=\"blue\">Clear your mind<\/font> from the mornings work.<\/li>\n<li>Give an opportunity to enjoy your surroundings (after being cooped up in an office for how many years).<\/li>\n<li>Allow time to <u>talk with a friend<\/u> outside of the office (invite them to come and walk).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Try doing this 2-3 times a week for 2-3 weeks. Then up the time to 25 to 30 minutes. Keep it up, it&#8217;s good for you. If you feel that you get bored, take along an MP3 player, CD or other music player. For a cheaper alternative to the Ipod, I got my wife a <a href='http:\/\/www.samcarrara.com\/a\/B000BP8AY2\/'>SanDisk Sansa<\/a> (presently $44.95 at Amazon). Surprisingly the 2 GB version was less expensive than the 1 GB model.
